ORANGEBURG, SC—The South Carolina State softball team return to Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) play this weekend when they host Norfolk State April 3-4 inside Lady Bulldog Softball Field.

THE MATCHUP
Norfolk State (17-11 overall, 7-2 MEAC) vs. SC State (11-11 overall, 6-3 MEAC)
THE OCCASION: Family & Friends Weekend
LOCATION: Lady Bulldog Softball Field (Orangeburg, SC)
THE SERIES: SCSU leads the series 11-1 dating back to 2008. The last time the two teams met SC State defeated Norfolk State 11-1 on May 9^th, 2025, in the MEAC Softball Tournament.
TIMES: Friday (April 3) -DH  1 PM & 3 PM  and Saturday (April 4) 12 noon 
 
LAST TIMEOUT: South Carolina State suffered a tough series loss to Howard 0-3 in Washington, DC. The Lady Bulldogs dropped 0-6, 5-14, 3-8 defeats to the Bison in league play.  Meanwhile NSU captured a 2-1 series win over North Carolina Central at home. The Spartans dropped the first contest 2-3 before winning back-to-back contests 7-6 and 2-0.
