NORFOLK, VA---The third-seed South Carolina State Lady Bulldogs look to remain in the hunt for a MEAC Title Saturday (May.9) when they take on No. 2 seed Delaware State with the winner advancing to the championship showdown versus top-ranked Howard. First pitch is 11 am.
SC State (22-20) dropped a tough 13-4 decision to Howard in the semifinal game, while Delaware State (28-17) won a thriller versus Coppin State 3-2 to remain in survival mode to advance.
The two teams met earlier in the tournament with SCSU winning a 8-3 battle
