ORANGEBURG, SC---The South Carolina State softball team is back in action this weekend when they host the visit Bison of Howard in a three-game Mid-Eastern Ahtletic Conference (MEAC) series, beginning Saturday in a doubleheader inside Lady Bulldog Softball Field.

GAME SCHEDULE:
Saturday Game: 1 (1:00 PM) vs. Howard | Game 2: (3:30 PM) vs. Howard
Sunday: Game 3: 12 noon vs. Howard

 The Series: Howard leads the series 10-5 dating back to 2009. The last time the two teams met on the field was in the MEAC Softball Tournament where the Bison defeated the Lady Bulldogs 6-3 in Norfolk, VA.

LAST TIMEOUT: South Carolina State enters the contest with a (5-11 overall, 1-2 record) after suffering a 1-2 series loss to Norfolk State in their last outing.  Meanwhile, Howard (9-14 overall, 3-0 MEAC) posted an 3-0 series sweep over NCCU in league play, but dropped an tough 0-1 defeat to Hostra at home.
