Orangeburg, SC — The South Carolina State softball team host Saint Peters University in their home-opener Tuesday (March 7^th) in a non-conference doubleheader at Lady Bulldog Softball Field.

First pitch is 12 p.m., followed by a 2 p.m. start.

The Lady Bulldogs (0-7) look to turn things after a tough start in the ASU HBCU Tournament last week. SC State dropped a 13-8 setback to Florida A&M in their last outing.

Meanwhile, Saint Peters (8-3) enters the contest after an 10-1 defeat of SWAC foe Mississippi Valley State.
