ORANGEBURG, SC — The South Carolina State softball team look to turn things around when they open Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) play Sunday (March 19^th) versus North Carolina Central in a three-game series at Lady Bulldog Softball Field.

The Lady Bulldogs (1-15) will play a doubleheader beginning Sunday at 1 p.m. 3 p.m., followed by a Monday (March .20^th) showdown at 12 noon.

Both teams are coming off tough setbacks with the SCSU dropping a tough series to USC-Upstate and NCCU (2-20) to Gardner Webb. SC State posted their firs win of the season in an 3-2 victory over Quinnipiac on March 11^th.

NEXT UP: South Carolina State resumes play Wednesday, March 22^nd against Winthrop  in 3:00 p.m. contest.
