ORANGEBRUG, S.C. - The South Carolina State women's softball team will host their first home-opener of the season Tuesday (Feb.28), when they take on Presbyterian College beginning at 2 p.m., at the Lady Bulldog Softball Field.

In their last outing, The Lady Bulldogs (0-13) dropped some tough losses in the Willie Jewell's Invitational Tournament to host Charleston Southern (0-12), Boise State (0-12) and Presbyterian College (3-8, 0-7) over the weekend.

Meanwhile Presbyterian (5-9) seek to close out its third win of the season over the Lady Bulldogs. Megan Anderson leads PC with a batting average of .314.

SC State returns to action on Friday (Mar. 3) in the Georgia Southern Eagle Classic in Statesboro, GA.  The Lady Bulldogs will be one of five teams competing over the weekend including host Georgia Southern, Marshall, Delaware State and Eastern Kentucky.
