CLINTON, SC—The South Carolina State softball team is back in action Wednesday (April 3) on the road versus Presbyterian in a non-conference doubleheader at the PC Softball Complex. First pitch is 3 pm followed by a second game at 5 pm.

 Lady Bulldog Bites
 
- Unable to snare a W in each of their last six, it's been a bumpy ride for South Carolina State this spring in a campaign where they've witnessed just four victories in 23 attempts.

- Both of the Bulldogs' MEAC wins occurred over Norfolk State – a neutral foe that was also bested twice by Presbyterian during the season's opening weekend – although SCSU has since been defeated thrice each by Howard and Morgan State.

- Head coach Tatjana Matthews' team has been held to either one or zero runs in their last four meetings, earning a win only once in 14 contests where the site was neutral or a straight-up road environment.
Meanwhile, PC enters the contest at 12-13 overall and look to bounce back after capturing one win in a series with Longwood closing out at 1-2 in their last outing.

NEXT UP: SC State returns to MEAC play over the weekend at Coppin State in a three-game series in Baltimore, MD, beginning Sat., April 6-7.
