ORANGEBURG, SC—The South Carolina State softball team return to action this weekend when they host visiting Maryland-Eastern Shore in a three-game Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) series at Lady Bulldog Softball Field, beginning Friday (April. 19) in a exciting doubleheader starting at 11:30 a.m., followed by a 11:30 a.m. start.

SERIES: UMES leads the series 16-7dating back to 2013, with SC State winning the last outing 12-5 in Princess Anne, MD.

South Carolina enters the contest at 7-24 overall, 4-11 in the MEAC, while UMES is currently 8-28 overall, 3-12 in the league.

NEXT UP: South Carolina State will close out the series on Saturday (April 20) in a 12 noon first pitch versus Maryland Eastern Shore.
