DOVER, DE—South Carolina State softball team return to Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) play this weekend April 13-14 versus Delaware State in Dover, DE.

First Pitch is 1 p.m., followed by a 3 p.m. start in the second of a doubleheader.

SERIES: The Hornets (10-21 overall, 3-9 MEAC) lead the series 8-2 dating back to 2020. In their last outing SC State defeated Delaware State 4-2 in Orangeburg, SC.

SC State (5-23 overall, 2-10 MEAC) enters the contest after a series sweep by Coppin State in their last outing. The Lady Bulldogs suffered 0-14, 1-4, 0-7 losses to the Eagles.

NEXT UP: South Carolina State will close out the series on Sunday (April 14) in a 12 noon first pitch versus Delaware State.
