ORANGEBURG, SC—The South Carolina State softball team returns to action back home when they host visiting Maryland-Eastern Shore over the weekend at Bulldog Softball Field.
The Bulldogs (3-22, 2-4 MEAC) will kick of the first game in a 1 p.m. start, prior to the beginning of the second game five seniors will be honored in a pregame ceremony, before a 3 p.m. first pitch.
In their last outing, UMES (9-19 overall, 5-1 MEAC), split a pair with Hampton University in a 6-5 victory and 1-5 defeat. Meanwhile, the Bulldogs fell short in winning the series at Charleston Southern suffering 1-7, 0-12 defeats.
Next Up South Carolina State will close out the series in a 12 noon showdown with UMES Sunday (April 3
rd) at Bulldog Softball Field.
