ORANGEBURG, SC—The South Carolina State softball team will play their home-opener versus Saint Peters University in a non-conference doubleheader at Bulldog Softball Field Monday (March. 7^th).

First pitch is 12 noon, followed by a second game at 2 p.m.

South Carolina State (1-10 overall) look to bounce back after a tough start. In their last outing the Bulldogs dropped an 1-9 decision to Alabama A&M.

Saint Peters University (4-4 overall) suffered an 0-3 setback to Presbyterian College.

Next up South Carolina State return non-conference play Tuesday (March. 8^th) at home versus Saint Peters in an exciting doubleheader at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
