DURHAM, NC—The South Carolina State softball team will open up Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference play on the road this weekend when they travel to take on North Carolina Central in Durham, NC.
The first game will start on Saturday (3/19) in a 1 p.m. start, followed by the showdown at 3 p.m. in the second contest. Sunday (3/20) both teams will close things out with a 2 p.m. first pitch.
The Lady Bulldogs (1-16 overall) look to bounce back after a pair of tough road losses to USC-Upstate, 1-11. 0-8 in their last outing.
Meanwhile, NCCU (3-14 overall) posted a split with Western Carolina in their last outing on the road.
