GREENVILLE, SC—The South Carolina State women's softball team will open the 2021 Spring Season on the road Wednesday (Feb.24^th) against Furman at Pepsi Stadium. First pitch is 3 p.m.

Furman (1-5) is coming off an 2-9 loss to Winthrop in their last outing, while SC State (0-0) will seek their fist win of the season in the opener for the Lady Bulldogs.

Head coach Tatjana Matthews enters her second season at the helm of the softball program.
