DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.—The South Carolina State women's softball team look to seek their first win of the season when they travel to take on host Bethune-Cookman over the weekend at Daytona Beach.

Bethune-Cookman (12-25 overall, 3-0 MEAC) enters the contest as one of the top teams in the Southern Division. The Lady Bulldogs look to finish the season strong with hopes of competing for a league crown with nine (9) games remaining in regular season.

The series get underway with a doubleheader on Saturday (April 6th ) in a 1 p.m. start, followed by a 3 p.m. second game. Both teams close out the series on Sunday (April 7th ) in a 12 noon contest.
