ORANGEBURG, SC—The South Carolina State softball team return to action on Thursday (April 18^th ), when they take on visiting Florida A&M  in the last Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) home game series of the regular season at the Lady Bulldog Softball Field.

First pitch is 1 p.m., followed by a 3 p.m. contest.

The games were previously scheduled for Friday at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., with a final contest on Saturday at 12 noon, but due to a threat of bad weather the games was rescheduled to another date and time.

South Carolina State will look for their first win of the season against one of the hottest teams in the league in the FAMU (18-23 overall, 9-0 MEAC).

After this series South Carolina State will close out the season with an away series versus Savannah State  in Savannah, GA April 27^th and April 28^th .
