BOLING SPRINGS, NC---The South Carolina State women's softball team will return to action over the weekend then they play in the Gardner-Webb Red and Black Tournament sponsored by Fairfield Inn & Suites By Marriott, beginning Friday March 1^st -3^rd .

The tournament will consist of 12 games over three days with Maryland Eastern Shore, Mercer, South Carolina State and Wright State traveling to Boiling Springs.

South Carolina State's first game will take place Friday, at 12 pm against Wright State Lake University, followed by a second game at 12 noon on Saturday (March. 2^nd) versus Mercer then a 6 pm showdown with league opponent Maryland Eastern Shore.

The Lady Bulldogs close out the tournament against host Gardner-Webb on Sunday in 2 pm contest.
