ORANGEBURG, SC---The South Carolina State women's softball team will play their final series of the season this weekend when they host league foe Savannah State at the Lady Bulldog Softball Field.

The series will begin in a doubleheader beginning Saturday (April. 28^th) in a 1 p.m. first pitch, followed by the second game in a 3 p.m. start. Both teams will wrap up the final league contest on Sunday (April. 29^th) in a 12 noon showdown.

South Carolina State (1-29 overall, 1-11 MEAC) look to close the season on a winning note after dropping a tough 0-3 series to North Carolina Central at home on last weekend.

Savannah State (11-20 overall, 8-9 MEAC) seek to extend their winning streak to six straight games and close out their second straight series after knocking off N.C. A&T State on last week 0-3.
