ORANGEBURG, SC--- The South Carolina State women's softball team look to turn things around this weekend when they host North Carolina Central in a three-game league series beginning Saturday (April. 21^st) in a doubleheader at Lady Bulldog Softball Field.

First pitch is 1 p.m., followed by the second game in a 3 p.m. start.

South Carolina State will also be saluting two seniors on "Senior Day" in a pregame ceremony.

NCCU (11-24, 4-6 MEAC) enters the contest after dropping a pair of games to Hampton University 1-5, 0-2 in their last outing. Meanwhile, the Lady Bulldogs (1-26 overall, 1-8 MEAC) look to snap a 12-game losing streak after falling 0-8, 1-9 to Gardner-Webb in a non-conference matchup on Thursday in Boiling Springs, NC.

South Carolina State will close out the regular season on next week in a three-game series at home against Savannah State.
