GREENSBORO, NC—The South Carolina State softball team posted their first win of the season in a 3-1 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) victory over N.C. A&T Aggies Tuesday at the Lady Aggies Softball Complex.
Both teams were playing the final game of a three-game Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference series.
The two teams had to play Monday and Tuesday because inclement weather forced the postponement of their original game days of Saturday and Sunday. N.C. A&T (5-23, 2-1 MEAC) swept a doubleheader from the Bulldogs (1-14, 1-2 MEAC) on Monday.
Sophomore
Jada Lake was the winning pitcher. The Lady Bulldogs posted no errors in the win.
South Carolina State will host UNC-Wilmington in a non-conference doubleheader Wednesday (March. 28
th) at Lady Bulldog Softball Field. First pitch is 1 p.m., followed by the second game in a 3 p.m. start.
