SAVANNAH, GA—The South Carolina State softball team returns to action this weekend in a three-game Mid-Easter Athletic Conference (MEAC) series versus Savannah State, beginning Saturday at Lady Tiger Softball Field. First pitch is 1 p.m., followed by the second game with a 3 p.m. start.

The Lady Bulldogs (2-35) enter the contest after dropping a tough doubleheader to NC Central on last week in Durham, NC.  Meanwhile, SSU (1-36) will look to bounce back after a pair of tough losses to Georgia Southern in Statesboro, GA.

Both teams will wrap their regular season during the series.
