Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 ORANGEBURG, SC—The South Carolina State softball team dropped a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) doubleheader to Florida A&M on Saturday (April.1), falling in game one 14-1 and in game two 20-3 at Lady Bulldogs Softball Field. 

Despite the loss, South Carolina State honored two of its student-athletes on "Senior Day".

South Carolina State falls to 2-27 overall, 2-3 in the MEAC, while Florida A&M improves to 10-24-1 overall, 5-0 in the league.

The two teams will wrap of the final of a three-game series Sunday (April. 2) in a 12 noon start.

Next up South Carolina State will host Alabama State at home in a non-conference matchup Wednesday (April. 5) at home. First game begins at 2 p.m., followed by the second in a 4 p.m. start.
