Box Score ORANGEBURG, S.C. – The Middle Tennessee State softball team defeated South Carolina State 11-0 in five innings at Lady Bulldogs Field on Tuesday afternoon.
 
The Lady Bulldogs (4-18) had just one hit in the game which came in the bottom of the fifth inning when Jasmine Greer singled up the middle to lead off the inning.
 
Unique Whitehurst pitched a complete game, allowing 13 hits and 11 runs (10 earned) while striking out three batters.
 
SC State travels to Johnson City, Tennessee for a doubleheader against East Tennessee State on Saturday. The first pitched is scheduled for 12 p.m.
