Box Score 2 ORANGEBURG, S.C. – The South Carolina State softball team dropped a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference doubleheader to Savannah State (24-21, 12-2 MEAC) on Saturday at Lady Bulldogs Field. SC State lost both games 11-0 in five innings.
In game 1, SC State's (5-26, 2-12 MEAC) lone hit came from
Nicole Sanders in the bottom of the second inning. In the second game,
Jada Richardson,
Kaneisha Pettiford and
Jasmine Greer accounted for the Lady Bulldogs' three hits.
The teams conclude the three-game series with a single game at noon on Sunday.
