Box Score 2 TALLAHASSEE, Fla—The South Carolina State women's softball team dropped a pair of Mid-Eastern Athletics (MEAC) contests to Florida A&M Saturday at the Lady Rattler Softball Field.
South Carolina State falls to 10-24 overall, 3-8 in the MEAC, while FAMU improves to 18-25 overall, 4-0 in the league.
In Game One, the Lady Rattlers defeated the Lady Bulldogs 8-0, before closing out Game Two, with an 11-2 victory to go 2-0 on the day. SC State was down 7-2 in the bottom of the fourth inning until costly errors resulted in four unanswered runs to put FAMU ahead.
South Carolina State will close out the three-game series against Florida A&M on Sunday at noon at the Lady Rattler Softball Field.
