BALTIMORE, MD. – The South Carolina State women's basketball team return to Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) play Thursday (Jan.8) on the road versus host Coppin State inside the Physical Education Complex Arena.
THE SERIES: Coppin State leads the series 19-9 overall dating back to 2008. CSU took the last series during the 2024-25 campaign, producing wins 45-57 and 38-84. The last time SC State captured a win over the Eagles was in 2023 in 61-50 and 63-61 victories.
LAST TIMEOUT: South Carolina State (3-13 overall, 0-1 MEAC) dropped a tough 64-68 loss to Howard at home in the league opener. Meanwhile, Coppin State (3-13 overall, 1-0 MEAC) produced an exciting road over Delaware State.
