ORANGEBURG, SC—South Carolina State first-year head coach Cedric Baker announced the 2025-26 Lady Bulldog Women's Basketball non-conference schedule Thursday (Oct. 16).
All home games will be played inside Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center on the campus of South Carolina State University.
SC State will tip-off the season with a three-home game stand beginning with Morris College (Nov.5) at 7:00 p.m., Trinity Baptist College (Nov. 11) at 7:00 p.m. and SEC powerhouse for the first time in school history University of Georgia (Nov. 13) at 7:00 p.m.
The Lady Bulldogs then hit the road for four-straight games at USC-Upstate (Nov. 17) in Spartanburg, SC; Queens University (Charlotte) (Nov. 20) in Charlotte at 7:00 p.m.; Charleston Southern (Nov. 22) in Charleston, SC at 6:00 p.m. and Central Florida (Nov. 24) in Orlando, FL.
A trip back home will have the Lady Bulldogs welcoming Winthrop University (Nov. 30) inside Smith-Hammond-Middleton at 4 p.m. start., before traveling to Asheville, NC to take on UNC Asheville (Dec.5) at 11:30 a.m. tipoff.
Back-to-Back home games will feature South Carolina State hosting High Point University (Dec.5) and West Georgia (Dec 7) at 4:00 p.m.
Baker and his team will then embark four-game road slate to close out non-conference play at Alabama State (Dec. 12) in Montgomery, AL at 5:00 p.m. (CST); Ole Miss (Dec.14) in Oxford, Miss at 2:00 p.m. (CST); Florida State (Dec. 20) in Tallahassee, FL and UNC-Greensboro (Dec. 22) in Greensboro, NC.
