DURHAM, NC-- The South Carolina State women's basketball team look to turn things around on the road versus host North Carolina Central in the first of a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) doubleheader Saturday (Jan.25) inside McDougald-McLendon Arena.

Tipoff is set for 2 pm and will be televised live on ESPN+.

THE SERIES: North Carolina Central leads the series 14-11 overall dating back to 2009. The last time the two teams met NCCU defeated SCSU 73-54 on March 7, 2024.
BULLDOG BITE: South Carolina State (2-18 overall, 1-3 MEAC) look to get things back on track with a win versus the Eagles on Saturday. The Lady Bulldogs are led by junior guard and transfer Angie Juste-Jean with 12.4 ppg, while Shaunice Reed adds 11.6.

INSIDE LOOK AT NCCU: North Carolina Central (5-14 overall, 2-2 MEAC) enters the contest having won three in a row is led by Kyla Bryant with 14.6 ppg along with Morgan Callahan at 12.9 points and Shakira foster at 11.3.
