BALTIMORE, MD—South Carolina State softball team return to Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) play this weekend April6-7 versus Coppin State at the Coppin State Softball Complex.

SERIES: The Eagles lead the series 10-7 dating back to 2002. In their last outing Coppin State won the series 2-1 with the Lady Bulldogs edging out the last game of the series in an 8-7 win in Orangeburg.

SC State (5-20 overall, 2-7 MEAC) enters the contest after a doubleheader split with Presbyterian College on the road at Clinton, SC. Meanwhile Coppin State (12-12 overall, 7-2 in MEAC) is coming off an 2-1 road series win over NCCU.

NEXT UP: South Carolina State will close out the series on Sunday (April 7) in a 12 noon first pitch versus Coppin State.
