Women’s Basketball Announces Non-Conference Schedule

ORANGEBURG, SC— The South Carolina State women's basketball team announced its 2024-2025 non-conference schedule (date). The slate is headlined by instate opponents.

The Lady Bulldogs open the 2024-25 season with four straight home contests at Orangeburg, SC, beginning with Furman (Nov. 4), followed by Presbyterian College (Nov. 8), USC-Upstate (Nov. 13) and Jacksonville State (Nov. 13). All the games will be at Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center (S-H-M).

SCSU will then take a road trip out west to Albuquerque, NM to take on host University of New Mexico (Nov.20), before returning home to host UNC-Greensboro (Nov. 24) at S-H-M.

The Lady Bulldogs will next embark on a six-game road trip, beginning with Queens University -Charlotte (Nov. 26), followed by a trip to Chicago to take on Loyola University-Chicago (Nov. 30).

The road trip will continue when Coach Tim Eatman and his team participate in the 2024 Shirley Duncan Classic in Farmville, VA against host Longwood (Dec. 6), McNeese State (Dec. 7) and William & Mary (Dec. 8), before heading to Rock Hill, SC to take on Winthrop (Dec. 11) and West Georgia (Dec.14) in Carrollton, GA.

A break in action from the road puts SC State in Charleston, SC for a battle with Charleston Southern (Dec. 17).

SCSU ends the calendar year with Coastal Carolina (Dec. 21) in Conway, SC and SEC foe Mississippi State (Dec. 29) in Starkville, MS.

ABOUT SC STATE ATHLETICS
South Carolina State University is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I level intercollegiate athletic program. The university currently fields teams in 14 sports: women's volleyball, men's and women's tennis, men's and women's cross country, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's indoor track & field, softball, men's and women's outdoor track and field, women's soccer and football with all teams competing in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC), except for women's soccer.
