GREENVILLE, SC—The South Carolina State women's basketball will close out non-conference play Sunday (Jan.1^st) on the road versus intrastate rival Furman. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m.
 
THE SERIES: Furman leads the series 4-1.  In their last meeting the Paladins knocked off the Lady Bulldogs 47-32 on Dec. 29^th, 2021.
 
LAST TIMEOUT:  South Carolina State (1-13) dropped an tough 55-107 defeat to New Mexico, while Furman (7-7) posted an 41-82 setback to ACC foe Georgia Tech.
 
NEXT UP: The Lady Bulldogs open Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference play Jan 7^th versus Coppin State and Jan 9^th versus Morgan State In Baltimore, Maryland.
