NORFOLK, Va., — South Carolina State sophomore forward
Trinity Klock was named to the Preseason Women's Basketball All-MEAC Second Team the league announced.
All awards, presented by TowneBank, were voted on by the league's head coaches and sports information directors.
Klock (5-11, F) appeared in all 10 games last season for the Lady Bulldogs, before the season was cut short. The Silver Springs, MD native was named to the MEAC All-Rookie Team after finishing second on the team in scoring with 11.6 points and 6.5 rebounds per game during the regular season. In league play Klock averaged a team-high 17.5 points, 11 rebounds and posted 20 blocks on the season. She led the team in scoring five times, while posting back-to-back doubles with 16 points, 10 rebounds and 19 points and 12 rebounds in a pair of losses to N.C. A&T State.
