COLUMBIA, SC---The South Carolina State softball team fell short Tuesday (April.28) evening in a 9-1 battle to host South Carolina inside Carolina Softball Stadium.

South Carolina State falls to 20-19 overall, while USC improves to 30-22.As a team SC State posted six (6) hits and 24 at bats along with 11 strike outs on the day.

NEXT UP: SC State earned the #3 seed in the MEAC Softball Tournament, beginning next weekend May 6-9^th in Norfolk, VA.
