BALTIMORE, MD--- The South Carolina State softball team dropped a tough 3-0 series defeat to Morgan State over the weekend inside Lois T. Murray Field.

South Carolina State falls to 6-16 overall, 2-7 in the MEAC, while Morgan State improves to 11-18 overall, 7-2 in the MEAC.

Next Up South Carolina State will host a three-game MEAC series April 4^th -5^th at Lady Bulldog Softball Field versus Coppin State. First pitch is Friday at 1 pm, followed by a 3:30 pm start in the second of the doubleheader.

The final game of the series will be Saturday in a 12 noon start.
