NORFOLK, VA— The second-seed South Carolina State Bulldogs return to action in the semifinal round of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Tournament versus the #6 seed North Carolina Central Friday (March. 14
th) inside the Scope Arena.
Tipoff is set for 8:00 PM and will be televised live on ESPN+.
The Bulldogs (19-12 overall, 11-3 MEAC) advanced the semifinal round after an impressive 68-63 thriller over Coppin State in the quarterfinals of the MEAC Tournament. Senior guard 
Wilson Dubinsky led the way with 20 points in the win.
Meanwhile, NCCU (14-18 overall, 6-8 MEAC) move to the next round after a buzzer beater over #3 Delaware State 79-77. Perry Smith Jr. led the way with 22 points, while Po' Boigh King added 20.
The two teams met early this season when with the Eagles winning the first meeting 77-82 in Durham, NC and the Bulldogs defeating 87-71 in Orangeburg, SC.
