ORANGEBURG, SC—For the first time since South Carolina State men's basketball made a historic turnaround capturing the 2025 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Regular Season Title, the entire team will return for a special recognition Saturday (April. 11) inside Oliver. C. Dawson Stadium|Willie Jeffries Field.

The 2024-25 South Carolina State Bulldogs will be presented their championship rings in a pregame ceremony beginning at 12:45 p.m., prior to the start of the Annual Garnet & Blue Spring Game.

South Carolina State snapped a 22-year drought to finish with a 20-13 overall record and capture the regular season crown, along with several players earning All-MEAC honors and head coach Erik Martin being named Coach of the Year.

ABOUT SC STATE ATHLETICS 
South Carolina State University is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I level intercollegiate athletic program. The university currently fields teams in 14 sports: women's volleyball, men's and women's tennis, men's and women's cross country, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's indoor track & field, softball, men's and women's outdoor track and field, women's soccer and football with all teams competing in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC), except for women's soccer.
