Elon, N.C. – The South Carolina State women's tennis returns to action Saturday (March. 1) on the road at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center at 1:30 p.m.
The Lady Bulldogs enters the contest at 2-3, while the Phoenix are 7-3 on the season.

ABOUT THE PHOENIX
- Elon has a record of 7-3, with their most recent match being a 4-1 loss to No. 37 Furman.
- The Phoenix holds overall doubles record of 18-10 and a singles record of 39-14.
SCOUTING SC STATE
- The Bulldogs are 2-3 on the season, and their most recent knocked off nationally ranked #65 Georgia Southern 4-3 in non-conference play.
- SC State ended the 2024 season with a record of 16-5.
- The Bulldogs have played the Phoenix five times since 2010 with the Phoenix winning three of the five matches.
- Most recently, the Bulldogs won 4-2 at JPTC against the Phoenix in 2024.
