ORANGEBURG, SC—The South Carolina State Women's Tennis team will defend their 2025 MEAC Crown, beginning Thursday (April. 23) in the quarterfinal round of the 2026 MEAC Women's Tennis Championship versus No. 3-seed Howard inside the Cary Tennis Center.

First serve is 11 a.m., with the winner advancing to the semifinal round on Friday (April. 28) versus the winner of No. 2 Norfolk State and No. 2 Coppin State.

South Carolina State enters the tournament as the No.6-seed the lowest under the Hardeep Judge era with a 2-12 overall, 1-5 MEAC record. The two teams met earlier this year with Howard winning 2-5 on the road in the MEAC Tennis Roundup.
