Men’s Basketball Announces 2025-2026 Non-Conference Schedule

ORANGEBURG, SC—South Carolina State head coach Erik Martin announced the 2025-26 Bulldog Men's Basketball non-conference schedule Monday.

All home games will be played inside Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center on the campus of South Carolina State University.

SC State will tip-off the season with an exhibition game against Allen (Oct. 31) at 7:30 p.m., followed by a four-game road trip beginning with University of Louisville (Nov. 3rd) in Louisville, at Samford (Nov. 7) in Birmingham, AL; at North Carolina A&T (Nov. 10) in Greensboro, NC; and College of Charleston (Nov. 14) in Charleston, SC.

A trip back home will have the Bulldogs welcoming University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (Nov.19) inside Smith-Hammond-Middleton at 7 p.m. start.

Martin and his team will then embark on a seven-game road slate at South Dakota (Nov. 23) in Vermillion, SD, followed by stops at University of Missouri (Nov. 25)  in Columbia, MO; Winthrop (Nov. 29) in Rock Hill, SC; Chicago State (Dec.1) in Chicago, IL; Bethune-Cookman (Dec. 5) in Daytona Beach, FL; Charleston Southern (Dec.8) in Charleston, SC; and Queens University -Charlotte(Dec.12) in Charlotte, NC.

Back-to-Back home games will feature the Bulldogs hosting USC-Upstate (Dec.16) at 6:00 p.m. and Brewton Parker College (Dec.19) at 12 noon.

SCSU will close out non-conference play with University of South Carolina (Dec.22) in Columbia, SC; and University of Tennessee (Dec. 30) on the road in Knoxville, TN, followed by Mid-Atlantic University (Jan.20) at home in Orangeburg, SC.

South Carolina State University is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I level intercollegiate athletic program.
