CHARLOTTE — South Carolina State women's tennis team will kick off the 2025 campaign on the road versus non-conference opponent and host Charlotte inside the Life Time Fitness Center, beginning at 5 pm.

Charlotte leads the series 5-0 dating back to 2017.
South Carolina State went 16-5 last season en route to claiming their 19
th Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Championship in school history and fourth (4
th) straight. The Lady Bulldogs upended Morgan State and eventually Delaware State in the title match to earn a trip to the NCAA Tournament where they fell 4-0 to NC State in the first round.
Charlotte enters the contest after going 19-8 overall and 3-2 om American League play before falling to #47 Memphis 1-4 in the AAC Semifinals, held in Dallas, TX.
NEXT UP: South Carolina State heads to the sunshine state to take on Stetson University Sunday (Jan. 26) in Deland, FL. First serve is 10 a.m.
