CHARLESTON, SC – The South Carolina State women's soccer team will open the 2024 campaign Thursday (Aug. 15
th) on the road College of Charleston in an 7 p.m. start at Patriots Point.
Second-year head coach Liz Amanda Brown returns a veteran roster from last season who finished 0-13-1 on the year with close losses and young team.
Only two seniors on this year's roster which include Emma Flemming and
Katelyn Williams. Five freshman was added to the team in Yaye Diaite,
Jada Gittings, Keylanna Gutierrez,
Isabella Mazza and Shanniela Schliffer.
NEXT UP: South Carolina State will host Queens University Sunday (Aug.18) inside Oliver. C. Dawson Stadium on Willie Jeffries Field. First kick is 6 p.m.
All women's soccer home contests will be played at the Oliver C. Dawson Bulldog Stadium on the campus of SC State and are free to the public.
