The South Carolina State women's basketball team is back in action with a pair of MEAC
road games on their slate, beginning with Coppin
State on Saturday (Feb. 3rd) in a 2 p.m. start.
The Lady Bulldog (1-19 overall, 0-5 MEAC
) look to rebounds and capture their first league win of the year versus the Eagles. In their last outing SC State dropped an 35-67 decision to Howard on the road.
Nicole Gwynn
finished with a team-high 15 points, while forward Lovely Sonnier
added her sixth double-double of the season with 14 points and 12 rebounds.
Meanwhile Coppin
State, (4-15 overall, 1-3 MEAC
) look to bounce back after an 58-62 setback to Howard. Jewel Watkins led the way for the Eagles with 20 points and 11 rebounds.
