ORANGEBURG, SC - SC State women's basketball team returns home to host Queens University on Wednesday (Nov. 29) in a non-conference match-up inside Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center. Tip-off is at 6:30 pm.
During the Thanksgiving break, SC State fell short 42-72 to South Dakota State (Nov. 24th) and 52-72 to the University of South Dakota (Nov. 25th). After a tough stint on the road, SCSU drops to 0-7. The Lady Bulldogs were led by Jordan Releford with 11 pts versus the University of South Dakota and 10 pts versus South Dakota State.
Meanwhile, Queens enters tomorrow's contest after defeating Southern Wesleyan 96-36. Against Wesleyan, the Lady Royals were led by Amari Davis (10 pts and 11 reb.), Nicole Gywnn (19 pts.) and Jordan Weaver (16 pts and nine rebounds).
SERIES: The Royals defeated the Lady Bulldogs in Charlotte last season 50-41. Tomorrow's contest will mark the second meeting in the history of both programs.
