ORANGEBURG, SC- The South Carolina State Lady Bulldogs host Winthrop University on Saturday (Nov. 18) in a non-conference match-up inside Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center. Tip-off is at 2 pm. 


Heading into tomorrow's contest, the Lady Bulldogs drop to 0-3 after suffering a tough 61-73 loss to Coast Carolina in the season home opener, on Thursday (Nov. 15^th) night.
 
Despite the loss, Morgan Beacham tabbed in nine points and four (4) steals with 25 minutes of play, while Rakyha Reid six (6) rebounds and Jhaven Meade chipped in six each in the loss.
 
Meanwhile, Winthrop enters tomorrow's contest after defeating Erskine College 84-43
 
SERIES: In the last meeting between the two teams, Winthrop defeated the Lady Bulldogs 38-61 on December 3, 2022. Winthrop commands a 6-4 series lead over SCSU.
