ORANGEBURG, SC—The South Carolina State men's and women's basketball will play the second of their three-game road swing Monday (Feb.28^th) versus Howard in an pivotal Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference showdown at Burr Gymnasium.

Tip-off for the women's contest begins 5:30 p.m., followed by the men's in a 7:30 p.m. start.

SERIES: The Bulldogs lead the series 7-4 between the two schools. SC State captured the last meeting in a 58-55 win over the Bison at home on Jan. 31^st ,2022.  Meanwhile on the women side, the Lady Bison are ahead 6-9 with the Lady Bulldogs after 15 meetings. HU won the last meeting 67-59 on Jan. 31^st in Orangeburg, SC.

LAST TIMEOUT: Both teams suffered losses on the road at top-ranked Norfolk State with the men falling short 59-63 and the women getting knocked off 29-68 at Echols Hall Saturday (Feb.26^th) in Norfolk, VA.
