ORANGEBURG, SC—The South Carolina State men's basketball team will begin play this Tuesday (Nov. 1
st) in an exhibition contest against West Virginia Tech at Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
First-year head coach Erik Martin looks to get things going with the return of Preseason All-MEAC guard Rahsaan Edwards. Edwards finished the season playing in 27 contests with 25 starts averaging 8.4 points, 2.4 rebounds in 25.3 minutes played.
South Carolina State finished the 2021-22 season 15-16 overall, 7-7 in the MEAC.
