Volleyball Fall Short At Charlotte Invite

CHARLOTTE, NC—The South Carolina State volleyball team suffered a few setbacks over the weekend in the Charlotte Invitational held at Halton Arena.

The Lady Bulldogs competed hard but drop tough defeats to Xavier (0-3), Colorado (0-3) in exhibition play and host Charlotte (0-3).

Junior outside hitter Maria Julia Vedovatto Loreiro posted an outstanding performance in the Charlotte Invitational over the weekend finishing with 17 kills and 8 digs
 
Next Up the Lady Bulldogs will travel to compete in the Bellarmine Tourney in Louisville, KY held from Sept. 3rd-4th.
