SPARTANBURG, SC—The South Carolina State volleyball team suffered yet another setback over the weekend during non-conference play at the Wofford Invitational inside the Richardson Indoor Stadium.
 
The Lady Bulldogs (0-5) dropped tough matches to host Wofford 0-3, Gardner-Webb 0-3 and North Alabama 0-3.
 
Junior Maria Julia Vedovatto Loureiro posted a season best recording her first double-double this season with 10 kills and 11 digs in the loss to North Alabama.
 
Junior Libero Chelsea Cole and freshman Setter/Libero Kendal Rivera were named to the All-Tournament Team.
 
Next up South Carolina State returns to action Thursday, Sept. 16^th versus The Citadel at 6 p.m.
