ORANGEBURG, SC—The South Carolina State softball closed out their regular season with a four-game defeat to North Carolina Central over the weekend at Bulldog Softball Field.
Game 1: SC State 1, NCCU 2;
Game 2: SC State 4, NCCU 6;
Game 3: SC State, NCCU 10 and
Game 4: SC State 3, NCCU 7
South Carolina State had their best finished in five years under second-year coach Tatijana Matthews finishing 4-26 overall, 3-14 in the league.
