- Western Carolina look to snap a four-game losing skid after dropping an 50-67 defeat to Tennessee Tech in their last outing.
- Zanoria Cruz led the way with 13 points, while Vanessa Oduah and Endia Holliday added 10 each.
- The Lady Bulldogs are coming off a 46-86 setback to former conference mate N.C. A&T State in Greensboro, NC.
- Freshman guard Nicole Gwynn led the way with a team-high 14 points and six rebounds, while teammate Briauna Thompson returned from injury to chip in 10 points and nine (9) rebounds in the loss.
SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
- The Lady Bulldogs enters the contest seeking their first win of the season after a rough start due to injuries.
- Trinity Klock, a preseason All-MEAC second team selection leads the Bulldogs averaging 11.7 points, 8.2 boards and 1.67 blocks per game
- Freshman guard Nicole Gwynn averages 11.8 points and 3.8 boards
SERIES HISTORY (Series tied 2-2)
- Western Carolina and South Carolina State meet for the fifth time with each team having won two games a-piece.
- The Camels won last year's meeting 68-41 on Dec. 20, 2020.
