ORANGEBURG, SC—The South Carolina State women's basketball team return to action on Saturday (Nov.13^th) when they host Coastal Carolina in a non-conference matchup at Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
 
SERIES MATCHUP: The Chanticleers lead the series 6-2 over the Lady Bulldogs. In their last contest  CU defeated SC State 88-56 in Conway, SC. The last time SCSU won was Dec. 12^th, 2012, 78-55 in Orangeburg. Cabriel Duren led the way with 15 points and 4 steals.
 
LAST TIMEOUT: SC State dropped a tough season-opener to ODU 80-52 in Norfolk, VA. All-MEAC performer sophomore forward posted a team-high 19 points and 11 rebounds in the loss. CU defeated Agnes Scott 117-25.
 
UP NEXT

• The Lady Bulldogs host USC-Upstate in a non-conference battle at 7 p.m. on Tuesday (Nov. 16^th) and St. Thomas University on Thursday (Nov. 18^th) in a 6 p.m. start.
